 High Security Safes Definitions
High Security Safes are those safes that carry the TL15, TL30, TL30x6, TRTL-15x6, TRTL-30x6 or TRTL-60x6 ratings. These rating are:
- TL-15 Successfully resist entry for a net working time of 15
minutes when attacked with common hand tools, picking tools, mechanical or portable
electric tools, grinding points, carbide drills and pressure applying devices or
mechanisms.
- TL-30 Successfully resist entry for a net working time of 30
minutes when attacked with common hand tools, picking tools, mechanical or portable
electric tools, grinding points, carbide drills and pressure applying devices or
mechanisms, abrasive cutting wheels and power saws.
- TL-30x6 Successfully resist entry (on all six sides) for a net working
time of 30 minutes when attacked with common hand tools, picking tools, mechanical or
portable electric tools, grinding points, carbide drills and pressure applying devices or
mechanisms, abrasive cutting wheels and power saws.
- TRTL-15x6 Six-sided tool and torch resistant protection - 15 net
minutes.
- TRTL-30x6 Six-sided tool and torch resistant protection - 30 net
minutes.
- TRTL-60x6 Six-sided tool and torch resistant protection - 60 net
minutes.
Entry - opening the door or making a 6 square inch opening
entirely through the door or front plate.
