Delivery of Alarm Systems ~

From time-to-time, Rapid Alarm has Alarm System specials that incorporate 'free shipping.' Please note, that there is still a Handling and Insurance fee associated with these systems. Additionally, Rapid Alarm reserves the right to amend shipping charges upto $5.00 without first securing the customers' authorization. Changes of $5.01 or more will be subject to the customer's approval.

Delivery of Safes and File Cabinets ~ (500 - 1,999 lbs.)

Safes and File Cabinets are sent FOB (Free On Board) to the shipping address when the item is 500 to 1,999 pounds. The same applies to multiple items if the combined weight of all items exceeds 500 pounds and no one item exceeds 1,999 pounds.

Zone 2 - (see map) except prime zip codes

Freight is approximately $48.00 to the shipping address when the item is 500 to 1,999 pounds. The same applies to multiple items if the combined weight of all items exceeds 500 pounds and no one item exceeds 1,999 pounds. The actual amount must be confirmed with the trucking company. Prime Zip Codes A Prime Zip Code are areas, usually metropolitan areas, where trucking companies charge extra fees to make deliveries. For example, New York City and Long Island are all Prime Zip codes, and have Freight charges even though New York State is in Zone 1.

The Freight to a Prime Zip code is approximately $148.00 to the shipping address when the item is 500 to 1,999 pounds. The same applies to multiple items if the combined weight of all items exceeds 500 pounds and no one item exceeds 1,999 pounds. The actual amount must be confirmed with the trucking company. Delivery of Safes and File Cabinets (2,000 lbs and greater)

The Freight Company has two types of optional charges that we have to pass onto the consumer:

1. An approximately $52.500 fee is charged for delivery to Residential Areas.
2. An approximately $67.50 fee is charged if you would like a power liftgate on the delivery truck. The power liftgate makes it easier to off-load the safe/cabinet. Note: - Power liftgate cannot handle over 3,000 lbs.

Inside Delivery

• By a Company of your own choosing
• By us arranging it for you.

To arrange it yourself you should look in your local Yellow Pages for Safe Movers, Riggers o r Moving Companies. Try to get at least three price quotations before selecting an inside delivery Company. After Contracting services with that Company, have us deliver the safe to their warehouse and your Company will redeliver to inside of your building. We can make all of the above arrangements for you, however, it is always a lot more costly to you when we arrange inside delivery.

Before accepting delivery of any Safe we recommend

• Inspecting the packing materials or signs of possible damage to the safe.
• Removing the protective packaging materials and inspecting the safe itself.

DAMAGE ALWAYS INSPECT CARTON AND SAFE BEFORE SIGNING THE FREIGHT BILL. If damaged write notation on bill "DELIVERY REFUSED, PRODUCT DAMAGED". You and the driver must sign the notation but be careful not to sign on the 'Received By' line. Call RAPID ALARM 1516.488.7044 to advise that the item was refused and will be returned by carrier. RAPID ALARM will send a new safe immediately not waiting until the original safe is returned to us.
