Image: Return Policy1) NO RETURNS WITHOUT EMAIL OR OTHER WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION FROM RAPID ALARM. You must notify us within five days of receipt of the item(s) or within seven days of shipment of the item(s) to you. Items ordered in error that you wish to return must be returned prepaid and you will charged a 25% restocking fee with a $15.00 minim charge which ever is more. Returned items must be sent insured as we are not responsible for shipping damage on returned items. Items that have been used, missing parts and or are altered cannot be returned. Item(s) must be in factory fresh condition and resalable condition.

2) No returns on keys or locks - unless defective. If defective, return the defective item(s) to us and we will replace the item(s) with a like item. Keys and locks are checked twice before shipping. First time is when we receive a new shipment and the second time is prior to shipping the item(s) to you.

3) No returns on electronics – unless defective. If defective, return the defective item prepaid to us and we will replace the item. At our discretion we will send the item(s) for factory repair and return the item(s) to you. If we bench test an item(s) returned as defective and the item is found not to be defective, you will be charged at the rate of $75.00 per hour or part thereof with a $37.50 minimum charge.

4) If you ordered the wrong electronics, item(s) must be returned prepaid in the original sealed box, all parts intact with all instructions included. We will replace the item with your intended item. Your account will be adjusted up or down accordingly depending upon the value of the replacement items compared to the original purchase price you paid.

5) If you receive a shipping damaged safe or Fire File you must report the damage to us immediately preferably the same day as you receive it. If you observe the shipping damage prior to your accepting the delivery, then refuse the delivery and mark the delivery receipt as

DAMAGED/REFUSED. It would be helpful to take pictures of the damage but not required.

6) If you discover shipping damage some time after receiving the item, it is at the transporter’s discretion how, when and if to honor the claim. The longer you wait the less likely it is that the claim will be honored. Therefore it is imperative that you inspect all of your shipment immediately upon receipt and prior to accepting and signing for the delivery.

7) If you receive a non-working safe or Fire File, the manufacturer’s warranty will kick in. Each manufacturer has their own warranty. It is important to keep your originl sales receipt and the serial number of your item(s). The manufacturer may at their discretion replace the item, pick it up for factory repair and return it to your, send a service person to repair the item at your location or provide some other solution according to their warranty.
